About Tatiana Ishwari Nemchin, Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT)

Tatiana Ishwari studied Akhanda Yoga under the inspirational guidance of Yogi Vishvketu and Chetana Panwar and graduated from the 200 hour Hatha Teacher Training at Upward Dog Yoga Center (RYS) in August 2007. She receives tremendous pleasure from teaching and her genuine interest in supporting others encourages health and well-being on all levels. Her nourishing and loving classes cultivate joy, calmness, peace, connection and community, and create space for Self-exploration and physical, spiritual, mental and emotional development.

In 2007 Tatiana completed her first two half marathons as a participant of Team Diabetes, raising over $6000 for the Canadian Diabetes Association. To her surprise Tatiana enjoyed running and the rich relationships she developed during training. She went on to train for and run a 10K race and hopes to one day run a marathon. The mindfulness and physical awareness that yoga practice brought to her training helped immensely on both psychological and physical levels and inspired her to begin teaching Yoga for Runners.

Tatiana discovered yoga in 1996 while living on Salt Spring Island, BC and knew she had found home in yoga. Tatiana loves dance and is currently studying NIA, and is exploring other forms of soulful movement to one day incorporate into her classes.

In addition to teaching yoga, Tatiana Ishwari is a consultant, coordinates workshops and events, and facilitates gatherings, mainly in the spiritual and cultural realm. A passionate traveler, Ishwari has practiced Yoga on the beaches of Mexico, Costa Rica, and onboard a ship while sailing through the Mediterranean and Caribbean islands.
